The Olympic Torch arrives at Pendine Sands Holiday Park

Sid & Lizzie had the honor of meeting one of the Olympic Torch bearers for London 2012. Olga Phelps is the head teacher of a small Primary School, where she promoted sports activities and introduced new out of school clubs, and community activities. She arrived at one of our Holiday Parks in South Wales, Pendine Sands, where she took the time to meet the staff and have pictures with Sid, Lizzie and guests. Sid the Seagull was very excited and said

‘I cant belive that I actually held the Olympic Torch, it was a great honor for me, not only for my Counrty but for all Seagulls everywhere’

Lizzie also expressed her delight and said ‘ I feel very excited and cannot wait for the games to start, im sure Britian will do their best as thats all you can ask for, we will cvertainly be chearing them along’

Guests visiting our parks during the Olympic period will have the oportunity to take part in Parkdean’s Gold Medal Games.
